Description
The Mellanox SX6018 is a high‑density, managed InfiniBand/VPI switch engineered for demanding HPC and data center environments. Built around Mellanox’s sixth-generation SwitchX‑2 silicon, it delivers eighteen QSFP+ ports, each supporting full bi‑directional 56 Gb/s FDR InfiniBand (with optional support for FDR10 at 40 Gb/s), translating to an impressive 2 Tb/s of non‑blocking aggregate switching capacity and port‑to‑port latency of just 200 ns. This 1U rack-mount design combines performance with efficiency, offering features like adaptive routing, congestion control, and support for Virtual Protocol Interconnect (VPI) for seamless Ethernet and InfiniBand coexistence.
Complementing its hardware strengths, the SX6018 includes robust management and software-defined networking capabilities. It comes with an onboard subnet manager that enables out‑of‑the‑box provisioning for up to 648 nodes, and runs MLNX‑OS with integrated diagnostics via Fabric Inspector. For larger scale deployments, it integrates with Mellanox’s Unified Fabric Manager (UFM) to simplify provisioning, fabric health monitoring, and operational automation across converged compute-storage clusters.

Your order is factory reset, painted if needed, made dust-free, and carefully packaged to your door step.
