The HPE JG963A is a smart managed Layer 2+ switch from the OfficeConnect 1950 Series, built for advanced small business and branch networks that require PoE, 10G uplinks, and simple management.
It provides 48 x Gigabit Ethernet PoE+ ports, along with 2 x 10G SFP+ uplinks and 2 x 10GBASE-T uplink ports, enabling flexible high-speed connectivity for both fiber and copper backbone connections.
With a PoE+ budget of ~370W, the switch can power multiple devices such as wireless access points, IP phones, and surveillance cameras, making it suitable for medium to high-density deployments.
The 1950 series supports true stacking (up to 4 units), allowing multiple switches to be managed as a single system, simplifying network expansion and administration.
