The AP includes a 2.5GbE multigigabit uplink, ensuring wired backhaul does not bottleneck wireless performance, and supports modern technologies such as OFDMA, BSS Coloring, Target Wake Time (TWT), and Cisco CleanAir Pro spectrum intelligence for interference mitigation and efficiency.
It is designed to work with Cisco Catalyst 9800 Series controllers or Cisco Catalyst Center, and supports deployment modes such as local mode, FlexConnect, and SD-Access environments, making it suitable for enterprise campuses, education, healthcare, and large office deployments.
Additional enterprise features include integrated Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) for IoT and location services, USB expansion, and support for Cisco DNA/Catalyst automation and analytics platforms.
