Description
The Mellanox SX6015 is a high-density, unmanaged InfiniBand switch delivering industry-leading performance in a compact 1U form factor. It supports 18 QSFP ports, each running at full 56 Gb/s, yielding a massive non-blocking switching capacity of 2 Tb/s and delivering ultra-low port-to-port latency around 200 ns.
Built on the sixth-generation SwitchX‑2 architecture, the SX6015 provides advanced InfiniBand features such as FDR10 support with forward error correction, static and adaptive routing, congestion control, port mirroring, and SDN programmability. The switch supports flexible airflow directions (front-to-back or rear-to-front), hot-swappable power supplies and fans, and reversible installation to suit various data center configurations.
The SX6015 is ideal for top-of-rack deployment in HPC clusters or large-scale data center fabrics where high throughput and minimal latency are critical. With a simple unmanaged design, it requires no subnet manager onboard—ideal for integration with host-based or external subnet management.
